Kara is a graduate student in the Clinical Adult Psychology program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She completed her bachelor’s degree at SIUE, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Anthropology. Her research interests include clinical disorders such generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. She is a graduate research assistant for Goshen Education Consulting Services and is involved with STEMKAMP, funded by the Department of Defense. At Goshen, she assists with the director and lead researchers on the STEMKAMP program, conducts data collection and analysis for research-oriented projects, and composes surveys for STEMKAMP program evaluation. She will be starting her practicum at SIUE Counseling Services, while working at Goshen and conducting her thesis.
