Emily is a Research Assistant at Goshen Education Consulting Inc., with extensive experience in qualitative research. Her background in Sociology provides her with a unique perspective when collaborating with clients to help achieve their program goals. Currently, Emily works on a team that partners with local non-profit organizations and National Science Foundation funded projects.
Emily recently graduated with her Master’s in Sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. While in graduate school, Emily worked as a Research Assistant for a National Science Foundation funded ADVANCE project. In this role she supported the implementation of workshops and events focused on bringing awareness to equity in higher education, implicit bias, and underrepresentation in STEM.
During her spare time, Emily enjoys hiking, gardening, and traveling with her husband and two sweet rescue dogs, Winchester and Belle.
